Marie only had one living child Stephanie Lloyd who was adopted. Marie was a diabetic and had problems in having a family and her doctor said if you go into a coma at the delivery the baby will not survive but I promise you they will bring you baby when when you come out of the coma. Suzanne Lloyd died 1940 and they gave Stephanie to Marie when she came out of the coma, this was at Royal North Shore. It would never happen today but everybody seem to be quite happy with it in 1940. We all knew the story.
